Janet Peasley

Janet Peasley began dancing at just 4 years old in hip hop, jazz, Hawaiian, tap, and bal let. She was an instructor for several years for the Mid American Pom Pom in Michigan where she taught various workshops. Janet's choreography credits include the 2001 Inaugural parade in Washington, D.C., Carnival Cruise Lines entertainment, 2004 Red Wings Stanley Cup parade, Detroit Pistons pre-shows and halftime performances, and the Detroit Thanksgiving Day parade. Janet was a dancer with the Eastern Eagles Hip Hop Crew and is inspired by Monsters of Hip Hop where she gets the opportunity to take class with moguls such as Laura Edwards and Stephen "Twitch" Boss. Joining the Steamboat Dance Theatre board in 2010 , Janet has had the opportunity to serve on the community enrichment and annual concert committees, contribute choreography for the annual concert, and Co-Produce the concert for the past 2 years.
