Contemporary: Prerequisites include some lower level jazz and require students to be enrolled in a ballet class and/or at least 1 year previous ballet technique and background. Students will learn smooth movements through across the floor and center floor combinations. This is an excellent class for students who want to explore different ways to express themselves through their dance. This class incorporates more emotions and inspiration while utilizing jazz technique.
Hip Hop: Students can feel at ease in this upbeat, fun class. Class begins with a 15-20 minute warm-up, which includes stretching and strengthening for the legs, arms, & abs. Class may include hip hop technique and drill across the floor followed by a fun hip-hop combination center floor that changes approximately every 2 weeks.
