At EDS, we pride ourselves on keeping you informed and up to date. This is your first monthly newsletter of the 2026-27 dance season. Please be sure to keep an eye out for your weekly newsletters every Wednesday. They will contain important reminders and updates throughout the year on classes, special programs, performances, and more! For your convenience, all newsletters are archived and can be easily referenced at the bottom of every newsletter or click here!

In addition to our newsletters and other email communications, we post reminders right here on the website news page and on the bulletin boards in our main lobby. You can also view any emails you miss through the Parent Portal:

1. Log in to your Parent Portal account.
2. Tap the menu ☰ in the top corner to open Menu.
3. Click Messages.

All regular class absences should be reported through the Parent Portal. Nutcracker rehearsal absences have their own form, linked below.

To report an absence:

1. Log in to the Parent Portal.
2. Tap the menu and select Absences & Makeups.
3. Click Submit an Absence.
4. Select your student, the date(s), and a reason, then click Next Step.

We encourage families to report absences as soon as possible, especially for Company, Competition Team, Pointe, and performance-related rehearsals.

Shop all of your dance-wear needs in our in-studio boutique. We stock leotards, ballet shoes, tights, and skirts, so feel free to stop by before class. Email inquiries to Miss Andrea at edsstudiodirector@gmail.com.
