PARENT RESOURCES & HELPFUL LINKS are at the bottom of every page of our website and there you can find everything you need all season but especially for the first day of dance.

• The calendar has important events for the entire season, but make sure you also check the monthly news for additional dates. The calendar will be updated as well so check that back frequently.
• If you need to report an absence we have step by step instructions for you here.
• If you are wondering what your dancer should wear, the dress code & boutique link has you covered, and we have dance attire available for purchase and/or order at our front desk so stop in BEFORE your dancer’s first class.
• If you want to keep your personal items safe, we recommend you submit a locker request.
• At the footer of every webpage are additional quick links to log into the parent portal and learn more about the recital, programs and more.

Parents: label everything your dancer brings into the studio such as a water bottle, bag, snack containers, etc. We will keep you updated on our lost and found pick up dates & times throughout the season.

Financial Assistance for Nutcracker Tuition & More

📣 SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT!

Steamboat Dance Theater 3rd Position (Round 1) - YOUTH Ages 3-17
What it Funds: (note this scholarship is NOT restricted to classes in Routt County)

• Dance Workshops, Intensives, or Conventions in Routt County or outside of Routt County
• Seasonal performance tuition (Only a portion of the total expense can be considered for a scholarship, as we do not fund costume expenses - please include YOUR total expense where asked on the application.)
• Non-semester-based classes (ie: Classes that are just one day or a 4-week series, etc.)
• Other Classes outside of Routt County

Application Window and Funding Periods:

Applications are accepted for two weeks during two separate rounds.
Round 1 is Sept 1-15, 2026
Round 2 is March 1-15, 2027

Applications will be reviewed between the 15th of the month and the end of the month, with award notifications by the 1st of the following month. Late applications will not be considered.

For Round 1: You may apply for any workshop/classes in the present or future (up to 3 months in advance. Funding can be used for classes/workshops/seasonal performance tuition that take place between October-December 2026)

For Round 2 ONLY: You may apply for any retroactive or future workshops/classes (up to 2 months after the workshop or up to 4 months in advance. Funding can be used for classes/workshops/seasonal performance tuition that take place between Jan 2027 - July 2027)

Elevation Lost & Found Reminder

Elevation’s Lost & Found will be donated AT THE END OF THE DAY on the first Friday of each month starting SEPTEMBER 4TH from items left from Nutcracker camp and summer classes.

Please be sure to label your dancer’s name on all items coming into the studio and check the Lost & Found regularly and collect any missing items before the first Friday of the month.
